Last Baseball Game of the Season



David and Christopher played double headers on the last day of the 2011 season. Both games were played in Central Park. Their team, the Mets (yes, that was really their name), won one and lost one. Overall, they had a great season.

Mormon Night With The Mets


The second "Mormon Night" at Shea Stadium with the Mets was a great success. Missionaries sang the National Anthem and David Neeleman, CEO of JetBlue, was presented with the Met's "Spirit Award."

Over 3,000 Members Participate in Mormon Night With the Mets



The second "Mormon Night" for members of the Church in the New York City area was held on Monday, June 19, at Shea Stadium. Some 3,200 members watched the Mets play the Reds. Missionaries assigned to the deaf program sang and signed the National Anthem at the beginning of the game.

The previous year over 4,000 members gathered to watch the Yankees play.

Mormon Night at Yankee Stadium




First "Mormon Night at Yankee Stadium" for approximately 3,000 Latter-day Saints organized by the stake (thanks Laura Christofferson!). Yanks played the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. Fun!
