In commemoration of the 200th anniversary of the birth of the Prophet Joseph Smith on December 23, 1805, Brent dedicated a statue placed in the Prophet's honor at Old Slip in Lower Manhattan, close to where Joseph stayed when he visited New York City in 1832.
