Stake member Scott Tiffany has produced a 55-minute documentary on the Ship Brooklyn Saints, entitled, "Forgotten Voyage." The documentary highlights the epic 20,000-mile, 6-month journey of almost 250 Latter-day Saints from New York City to Yerba Buena (later San Francisco), California in 18476--a full year before the first Mormon Pioneers arrived in the Salt Lake Valley.
Scott has kindly added Brent to the list of "grateful acknowledgements" for Brent's support in highlighting this interesting episode in early Mormon and New York City history.
